Orabunny is written by people who grew up inside Korean skincare culture and now live in the United States, where the shelves, the water, and the weather are all different.
Korean skincare arrives in America flattened into a ten-step ritual and a wall of bottles. The part that does not survive the trip is the reasoning: why that order, why that texture, why you stop when your skin stings. That reasoning is the whole method, and it is what we write down.
We are not dermatologists, estheticians, or a clinic, and we do not claim to be. What we have is first-hand culture, a habit of reading ingredient lists, and a rule that we say when something is not worth buying.
How we choose what to recommend
- Start from the step, not the brand. A routine gap comes first; a product fills it.
- Read the ingredient list, in order. Position on the list matters more than the claim on the front.
- Check it is buyable in the United States, at a real price, this season.
- Say the cheaper option is the same when it is the same.
- Date it. Anything naming a product carries a last-verified month.
